This is Rodger's virtual office. Contact Rodger via email or you can set up a video conference through his virtual office. Make arrangements for a meeting time via email. The virtual office works in the same manner as the class connection that is described below. The virtual office can be text, like instant messaging, voice using your microphone, or video using your camera. You do not need a microphone or a camera, but we can use them if you do.
Class Connection
Rodger will also join each week's class via videoconference. To connect with him, follow these steps.
- Plug your Logitech QuickCam camera into the USB port on the front of the computer.
- The QuickCam tool bar will pop up. You probably do not need to change any of its settings.
- Click on this web link (or type it in): http://emedia.utmb.edu/suffering.
- The video will come to you via Adobe Connect. This is a Flash program and you probably already have Flash installed. Enter as a Guest. Use your real name.
